Hi,
I’m Antonio Libertino, born and raised in Tropea, my beloved home town (although I have been living 4 km away from it for a few years by now).
I’ve been teaching Italian for several years, and I really love teaching my language to people who love all things Italian, the people, history and culture.
After graduating in Sicily, I started teaching in a private school in Tropea, where my students and I had great time while learning Italian. I also got the DITALS certificate Level II, which is issued by the University of Siena for Foreigners, and tests theoretical and practical knowledge of candidates in the field of teaching Italian to foreigners.
The Lessons I’m offering to you are flexibly adapted to your needs and level. You can choose a highly intensive course, or go at a more leisureous pace. We will focus on the four main skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Special needs can be catered for if you give advanced notice of your requirements. All teaching material is provided with the lessons.
Notes: This is not a school. I am a qualified teacher with true teaching experience. No extra fees. Being the only teacher also means that I can fulfil only a limited number of requests, so book early! I guarantee the courses you book. I won’t work on: from 01/01 to 06/01, 25/04, Easter Monday, 01/05, 02/06, from 01/08 to 30/08, 01/11, 08/12, from 18/12 to 06/01/Next Year.

[1] Basically courses are for maximum 2 people at the same level. This year I charge 34 euro per lesson (17 euro per person for the two-to-one courses). For lessons held at my place I’ll charge 29 euro per lesson (14.50 euro per person for the two-to-one courses) If more than two people at the same level ask for a course I will provide it accordingly with previous commitments. The price for more than two people courses would be 14.50 euro per person and lesson.
[2] Online courses are available. Online individual lessons are 24.00 euro per 45 minutes. Payment are to be made before the lesson.
